Beautiful Brickwork & Building in Bedfordshire

In preparation for building a mostly timber frame extension to our house I engaged Des and Steve of D&A to do the groundworks and construct the footings and a tall brick and block chimney structure. As an experienced carpenter and house builder myself I am well able to judge good workmanship when I see it. They are highly skilled and well organised, efficient in materials supply and handling, work very hard on time and on budget, maintain a very clean and tidy job site, and are a pleasure to have on site. Their organisation of excavating the foundation trenches and subsequent concrete pour was efficient and timely. Their subsequent brick and block work carried out to a very high standard and millimetre perfect. These are experienced bricklayers any client would be delighted to employ. I highly recommend this company. They completed Groundworks up to DPC and built a large brick and block chimney for me as part of a timber frame extension. Highly organised, reliable, good at sourcing and materials handling, very skilful brick workers. Kept a clean and tidy site throughout and delivered on budget and on time.
